Patriotic DIY Canning Jar Tutorial
Red, White, and Blue Mason Jar Ideas For You
The Fourth of July is right around the corner, so I’ve pulled together some fabulous red, white, and blue mason jar ideas using mason jars for you! I know, I know, you can thank me later …
Colorful Patriotic Lid Festivities...
First, trace your lid onto the wrong side of scrapbook paper and cut your circles out.
(I would make extra just in case or seal them in clear contact paper in case of drips). Place the circle inside the screw-on lid with the printed side facing down.
Tighten the screw-on lid until the scrapbook paper becomes taut.
With your craft knife, make a tiny "X" in the center or side of your cup.
Don't make it too big or you could create a hole larger than your straw.
Pop in some festive straws and you have some pretty, patriotic party cups!
Red, white, and blue centerpiece
Can I take a moment to thank all those military families out there – past, present, future – for your service and sacrifices for this country? You truly are brave.
Here is what you need now to make this little fun centerpiece now:
- blue food dye
- red and white supermarket flowers
- mason jar (of course)
- mini flag
Wash out the jar. And may I recommend you use lots of hot, soapy water. Then fill the jar with water and squirt in some blue food dye …
Stir up the water. Add flowers and a flag. And you’re done …
Super. Duper. Easy.
Which is your favorite? ❤️🤍💙
